Description

Foam pig is a cylindrical device made from flexible, open-cell polyurethane foam, used to perform various cleaning, drying, and maintenance tasks inside pipelines. Unlike mechanical pigs with metal parts, foam pigs are entirely non-metallic, making them lightweight, flexible, and less prone to causing damage or getting stuck.

1. LCQZ-RTH Bi-Di Foam Pig

This is a bi-directional, heavy-duty foam pig. Its primary feature is the ability to travel effectively in either direction within a pipeline. The “H” (Heavy) suffix indicates it is designed with a higher density or more robust construction for challenging cleaning or drying tasks where extra scraping force and wear resistance are needed.

2. LCQZ-RTN 

This is the standard-duty foam pig in the series. The “N” typically denotes a general-purpose design. It is versatile and suitable for routine pipeline operations such as light cleaning, debris removal, and basic drying or separation between different product batches.

3. LCQZ-RTR 

This model represents a standard-duty, round-body foam pig. The “R” (Round) shape provides excellent sealing and centering within the pipe. It is ideal for swabbing, drying, and removing loose solids with a gentle, consistent wall contact, minimizing the risk of sticking in restricted areas.

4. LCQZ-RTCC 

This is a crisscross-coated foam pig. Its surface is covered with an abrasive material (like silicon carbide) in a crisscross pattern. This design is highly effective for aggressive cleaning, removing tough deposits, rust, and mill scale while maintaining good flexibility and contact with the pipe wall.

5. LCQZ-RTCB 

This model is a blade-equipped foam pig. It features metal or plastic blades mounted on its body. These blades provide a powerful scraping and cutting action, making it the go-to choice for scraping out hard, tenacious wax, scale, or other solidified debris from the pipeline interior.

6. LCQZ-RTNB 

This is a standard-duty, bare foam pig, specifically indicated by the “B” (Bare) designation, which means it has no external coatings or attachments. As such, its soft, bare foam surface makes it perfect for gentle wiping, drying (dewatering), and displacement applications. So operators primarily use it for sweeping liquids, ensuring the pipe’s internal lining remains undamaged.

7. LCQZ-DRTH 

This is a heavy-duty, foam pig with an integrally molded disc design, where the solid polymer discs are permanently fused to the foam core in a single, non-demountable unit. This monolithic construction provides exceptional structural integrity, delivering a robust seal and high driving force, making it ideally suited for demanding applications such as high-pressure service, long-distance pipeline runs, and the displacement of large liquid slugs or debris.

8. LCQZ-RTFB 

This is a foam pig with a felt or fabric band. Then the band, typically wrapped around the pig’s body, can be impregnated with chemicals (inhibitors, cleaners) for in-line coating applications or used for fine polishing and final wipe-down of the pipe wall after mechanical cleaning.

9. LCQZ-BRTH 

This is a heavy-duty, bi-directional foam pig. The “B” likely stands for Bi-Di, similar to the RTH but possibly with a different core design or density specification. It offers the same reliable performance in either direction but is built with a heavier construction for more demanding operational conditions.

10. LCQZ-RTSC 

This is a crisscross-coated, heavy-duty foam pig. The “SC” typically stands for Silicon Carbide in a crisscross pattern. Then it combines the aggressive cleaning power of an abrasive coating with a robust, dense foam body. Which making it ideal for simultaneously cleaning and scouring pipes with significant, hard deposits.
