Pigs are launched from a pig launcher, a pressurized vessel with a kicker line, and caught in a pig receiver at the far end. You close the trap, pressurize the barrel, open the kicker, and product flow pushes the pig down the line; at the receiver the pig drops into the catch basket, then the trap is depressurized and opened to retrieve it. EMT builds launchers and receivers to ASME BPVC Section VIII with the ASME U Stamp.
